Now a days almost every person has a
gmail account they are using. Most of the people use it in their android devices for using the google
app store and the other are using it for
blogging purposes just like me. There are many different types of ways to use a
google account. But at sometime if you want to change your primary email service from gmail to some other
email service provider then you would definitely want all of your current contacts and email data to be moved to the new service.
You can now download all of your google hosted account data including gmail, blogger, contacts, google plus etc as an archive hosted on Google so that you can use it in another service or keep a copy for your records. In order to download all the data please follow these few steps to do it.
- Login to your gmail account
- Visit the Download your Data page. You will see a page with different google products listed.
- Select the products you want to include in your download.
- After you have selected all of your desired products click on the "Next" button, at the bottom of the list, to proceed to the download page.
- Select your desired archive format (in which you want to download your data) and the method of getting the archive. You can get the archive via email or on your google drive.
You have done your part. Now wait till the archive is created. Once the archive is
created, you will get a
notification email, to let you know it’s
ready. Depending on the amount of information in your account, this
process could take a few minutes or several hours. In the email the
link to your archive can be found and you can download your data from there.
